Get in touch

Bug reports, feature ideas, or a note about how you use it — all welcome. GlissNotes is built by one person, so replies are human and sometimes slow.

Something is broken

Open an issue with what you did and what happened. Include your platform and the version from Settings.

Report a bug

An idea or a question

Suggestions for features, views or integrations are genuinely useful — several shipped ones started that way.

These come up a lot

macOS says the app is damaged or from an unidentified developer
The builds are not code-signed yet. Right-click the app and choose Open, then confirm. If it still refuses, run xattr -cr /Applications/GlissNotes.app in Terminal. Full steps are in the install guide.
Claude cannot see my notes
Restart Claude Desktop after adding the server — it only reads its config at startup. In Claude Code, run /mcp to check. The MCP guide has the manual config if the one-click button could not write it.
I lost a note
Open Settings → Notes & backups, pick a snapshot and press Restore. Your current notes are saved as a backup first, so you can always go back again.
Can I self-host the sync?
Yes. Sync is a Supabase project with one row-level-secured table. Point the build at your own project with VITE_SUPABASE_URL and VITE_SUPABASE_ANON_KEY; the schema is in the repository.

Prefer to read first?

The documentation covers installing, organising, connecting Claude, backups and sync.
